Our Story
CCC was established in 1986 with the purchase of a single wagon and as the result of years of blood , sweat and hard work, the business has now grown into one of the Liverpool’s and the North West’s leading recycling and waste management operators.
The business developed from the haulage and excavation division, building the company with successful contracts with the regions councils, house builders, demolition, road works and private construction companies.
This high level of work led to the expansion of the business into the newly emerging ‘waste recycling’ and ‘recycled aggregates’ market. We are now one of the largest suppliers of recycled aggregates in the north and have supplied some of the largest development projects in the region. Operating from CCC’s 30-acre site at Simonswood Industrial Park Kirkby, Liverpool which has the capacity to produce over 30,000 tonnes per week of recycled crushed brick, crushed concrete, soil, sand etc.
Continued investment into waste recycling has resulted in CCC now operating one of the largest Waste Recycling Centres in the UK based in Liverpool and with further depots in Garston and Wavertree. We handle and recycle waste from retail, manufacturing, industrial, construction, demolition, public sector and council Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) and third party waste companies. We recycle and reuse 100% of all waste ; our separation operatives segregate all waste, bale it and either use on our site or send it third party companies for further recycling. Our residual waste is now used in Waste2 Energy plants, to power thousands of homes were waste is converted into energy to supply heat and electricity to thousands of homes
