Type 1
Crushed, screened materials produced in house by our state of the art recycling plants.
InformationType 2
Type 2 is a crushed stone with extra dust similar to Crusher run, it usually contains finer material than type 1, being composed of fewer angular aggregate sizes also know as scalpings.
InformationType 3
Type 3 is a sub-base similar to MOT Type 1 but with reduced fines to allow water to free drain as a permeable sub base.
Information6F2 / 6F5
Typically used for capping sub formations prior to laying Type 1 or Type 2 sub-base. Well graded material ranging from 125mm to dust.
InformationPipe Bedding 10mm
Material laid below a pipe that supports the pipe against the top and adjacent soil load on the pipe, to prevent pipe failure -10mm
InformationPipe Bedding 20mm
Material laid below a pipe that supports the pipe against the top and adjacent soil load on the pipe, to prevent pipe failure -20mm
InformationPipe Bedding 40mm
Material laid below a pipe that supports the pipe against the top and adjacent soil load on the pipe, to prevent pipe failure -40mm
InformationRoad Plannings
Used as a fill or a sub-base for buildings, paths, roads, highways, driveways, and patios. This sub-base aggregate is produced when a surface layer of tarmac is removed from a road or a footpath.
Information75mm – 40mm
Its coarse nature makes it a very good all in one product which when compacted forms a hard wearing but well drained surface.
Information150mm-75mm
Large stones ideally suited to use in gabion baskets where a retaining wall is required for structural or decorative purposes.

Type 1
Crushed Limestone to a finer grade of 40mm down. This is made to a specific standard set out by the Highways Department. Angular material that can be white or grey in colour. It is easily compacted to create a hard finished surface
InformationType 2
Type 2 compacts nicely to form a sound free-draining base for paths, walkways, tracks, patios and driveways. It can also be used to fill pot holes or as a backfill material.
InformationType 3
Type 3 it must conform to the Ministry of Transport Specification Clause SHW 805. This is often specified for use with permeable paving on driveways, tennis courts, sports pitches, equestrian arenas, tree root protection systems or other cellular systems.
