Our Story

CCC was established in 1986 and the business has now grown into one of the North West’s leading Recycling and waste management operators.

The business developed from the Haulage and excavation division, building the company with successful contracts with all the regions councils, house builders, demolition, road works and private construction companies.

This high level of work led to the expansion of the business into the newly emerging ‘recycled aggregates’ market. We now are one of the largest suppliers of recycled aggregates in the North and we have supplied some of the largest development projects in the region. Operating from CCC’s 20-acre site at Simonswood Industrial Park Kirkby, Merseyside it has the capacity to produce over 20,000 tonnes per week of recycled crushed brick, crushed concrete, soil, sand etc

Continued investment into waste recycling has resulted in CCC now operating one of the largest Waste Recycling Centres in the UK based in Kirkby and with further depots in Garston and Wavertree. We handle and recycle waste from council Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) and third party waste companies. We recycle over 90% of all waste ; our separation operatives segregate all waste, bale it and either use on our site of send it away to specialist recycling companies.

CCC is a traditional family run business, formed in 1987 my Sean’s father. Sean has now taken over the reins to maintain and continually grow the business. Sean actively encourages personal development of employees at every level by providing appropriate training and creating opportunities for staff to fulfil their potential.

Roger is the longest serving member of the team and is well known around the regions construction industry. Roger has worked on major construction projects around the region and is responsible for maintaining and improving sales targets.
